Welcome to the Entrepreneurship Club Of Indian Institute of Technology Patna
We, at the Entrepreneurship Club, shall strive to educate ourselves about the nuances involved in entrepreneurship and business in order to prepare ourselves for undertaking the journey from the genesis of an idea to its successful business implementation. We shall work to create an environment that would allow us to learn from each other and from the experiences of people who have undertaken this journey in the past.
JOSHTALKS in association with ENTREPRENEURSHIP CLUB, IIT PATNA organized a workshop on the implementation of business tools of facebook and instagram to give the spirit of entrepreneur ship to young people to erect their future in the field of marketing. It is a 2-hour event. At the beginning of the workshop there is a short discussion on #charcha for change which is an initiative to eradicate poverty.
The first session created awareness among students on "HOW TO USE FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM FOR YOUR BUSINESS ".The speaker influenced the young minds to use facebook and instagram for other purposes as well, which is beneficial personally and socially .In the middle of the session there was a video shown where we can find the clear difference between expectation and reality in our society. She gave the clear picture of users of social media which shown, "how far we can reach to the people through social media ".

The Entrepreneurship Club of IIT Patna presents you the E-Week - the most celebrated event of the club. E-Week is the most recognised event of the Entrepreneurship club of IIT Patna where the club on an annual basis unites to foster the spirit of Entrepreneurship among the students. E-Week events have always been an exciting simulation of real business world scenarios. It has always been great fun to be a part of both as participants and spectators. E-Week 18 has modified and rebooted the set of events we used to have. Here we present to you , the new and improved events for E-Week 2018.
E-Week'18 Inauguration Ceremony was carried out harmoniously on 23rd March. The occassion was made special by the honourable presence of Dr. Mayank Tiwari, Associate Professor - IIT Patna, Dr. Pramod Kumar Tiwari Assistant Professor - IIT Patna, Dr. Akhilendra Singh Associate Professor - IIT Patna, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Assistant Professor - IIT Patna and Professor Incharge - Entrepreneurship Club IIT Patna, along with the E-Club Members under the lead of Mr. Piyush Agarwal. To grace the occassion there was a guest talk by Mr.Joseph P Arackalan - Manager at Incubation Center IIT Patna. With the lighting of the lamp, we mark the commencement of another version of entrepreneurial extravaganza - E-Week'18.
Day 2 of the beautiful journey of the Entrepreneurs Week - 2018 was memorable in its own way as the audience was thrilled by the motivating words of Mr. Saket Agarwal - Managing Partner of Onnivation. Mr. Saket Agarwal is also a member of Young Indians, the youth forum of the Confederation of Indian Industry and Global Shapers Community, part of the World Economic Forum. He is a Mentor at “Edugild”, India’s first Edtech Accelerator and the “National Entrepreneurship Network” where he is helping startups with strategy and industry linkages. It was an honour for the club to organise the event and the whole afternoon, the guest talk remained the talk of the people. The session was very interactive and motivating. His inspiring words shall always guide the students and continue to instill in them the spirit of Entrepreneurship!!
After the inspiring words of Mr. Saket Agarwal alongwith the thrilling events like IPL Auction and E-Debate, E-Club had other surprises behind the curtains. The guest lecture by Mr. Layak Singh in the late evening became the center of attraction. Mr. Layak Singh is the Founder @ Artivatic, xFounder @3 Startups, Hiring Senior Technology, Blockchain & ML/AI Engineers Artivatic AI Labs and alumni of Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. It was a proud moment for the club to have him in the campus. The day 2 of the Entrepreneurs Week ended on an incredible note with the inspiring words of Mr. Layak Singh.
The final day of E-Week'18 was full of even more events and guest talks. Day-3 was made memorable by the remarkable guest session by Mr. Dhrupad Karwa - Co-founder and CEO @ HaikuJAM. Mr. Karwa shared HaikuJAM's mantra of inspiring thoughtfulness online and in the physical world, with IIT Patna. The guest session was very interactive and Mr. Karwa's thoughts and experiences were truly enlightening. It was an honour for the club to organise the event and the whole afternoon, the guest talk remained the talk of the people. The session was very interactive and motivating. His inspiring words shall always guide the students and continue to instill in them the spirit of Entrepreneurship!!
To conclude the beautiful journey of E-Week'18, E-Club organised a guest lecture by Mr. Barada Prasad late that evening. Mr. Barada Prasad is the Regional Manager @ National Entrepreneurship Network of Wadhwani Foundation. Mr. Prasad shared his ideas of entrepreneurship and instilled in the audience the spirit of entrepreneurship. It was a proud moment for the E-Club to have him in the campus. The Entrepreneurs Week ended on an incredible note with the inspiring words of Mr. Barada Prasad.

Like always a stupendous event was presented by IIT Patna's E-Club. The session was too much interactive. The major point was about the things we need to start a startup, Many of the important point's including timing, Idea were discussed. Concept of MVP(Minimum Viable Product) and it's utility were introduced, As they are a major point of starting a better startup. Summarising , It was a session to introduce newbies to starting a startup.

Dr. Prashant Jha, who serves as the Fellowship Director of Medical Device Innovation Program at AIIMS and IIT Delhi conducted the workshop. Dr Jha is a multidisciplinary expert who trains physicians, engineers, designers and entrepreneurs in the art and science of innovating and commercialising low-cost, high-impact medical devices. He also serves as visiting faculty in several Medical, Engineering and Business Schools in India, Australia, Finland, Japan, UK and USA. He shared his experiences in setting up over a dozen enterprise over last 20 years and discussed the key lessons learnt on the way. He talked the participants through the steps involved in bringing an idea to market & building a sustainable enterprises.While giving the vote of thanks, Entrepreneurship club coordinator, Piyush, said that we aim to foster the entrepreneurship spirit among the students in the field of startup.
